Saving Strokes/American Heart Program

Impact: 175+ men & women w/ disabilities

A program designed specifically for participants with disabilities, mental or physical in nature, caused through stroke or heart issues.  The participants learn golf skills in a fun and supportive environment with the goal of making new friends, moving back into mainstream life, rehabilitation and feeling comfortable playing golf actually on the course itself.

Special Olympics / California Eagle Program

Impact: 70+ male & females (note: We also host the annual Western Special Olympic Games for golf that brings 200+ Special Olympic athletes to our site)

A program designed specifically for participants with disabilities, mental or physical in nature, caused through down-syndrome or similar issues.  The participants learn golf skills in a fun and supportive environment with the goal of making new friends, moving back into mainstream life, rehabilitation and feeling comfortable playing golf actually on the course itself.

Fore Golf

Whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran, you will find a place with Fore Golf if you are disabled or want to volunteer. Clinics include: golf-ready assessments and hands-on group lessons. PGA and LPGA professionals provide instruction. Fore Golf Sacramento is a wonderful rehab tool. The program is eight weeks in length which includes a pre-assessment, six-weeks of lessons, and a post-assessment. Adaptive equipment is available.

Swing for the Blind

The Swing for the Blind Program has been in existence for over 25 years. The program is for individuals who are blind or legally blind. Golf facility instructors use specialized equipment and careful instruction to bring recreation to those previously thought not able to play this great game.
