Ken Morton, Sr.

Ken Morton Sr. has been in the golf business for nearly 60 years. During his early years at Haggin Oaks, he was first a teaching professional and then moved up to become Tom Lo Presti’s first assistant in 1964 and later became his partner and Co-Professional in 1971. They remained partners until Mr. Lo Presti retired in 1991 and then he took the reigns over individually until 2001 when he took in partners Terry Daubert, Ken Morton Jr., Tom Morton, Mike Woods and Kathy Morton to operate all of the City of Sacramento Golf Facilities.
Morton Golf President
Terry joined the Haggin Oaks Golf Shop in 1985 and became an apprentice golf professional. Initially, his career goals were to become a Head Golf Professional. Because of his educational background and his previous small business experiences, he became more valuable in an administrative position than as a golf professional. Over time, he was selected to become the General Manager of Haggin Oaks Golf Complex and today is the President of Morton Golf.
